Household hazardous waste includes products labeled as dangerous, poisonous, toxic, flammable, reactive, and corrosive. Under California law, it’s illegal to place hazardous waste in the trash. Residents within the ReGen Monterey’s service area may drop off household hazardous materials at the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility for free.

In addition, your curbside service provider may offer pick-up of household hazardous waste as a part of their bulky item collection program.
