CONSENT AGENDA

These matters include routine financial and administrative actions, which are usually approved by a single majority vote. Individual items may be removed from Consent for discussion and action.

1)      Approve Resolution No. 2022-10, regarding the Ralph M. Brown Act (California Government Code §§54950- 54963, hereinafter the “Brown Act”) and Assembly Bill 361, making certain findings, and authorizing the District to implement remote teleconferenced public meetings of the Board and the District’s standing committees (i.e., Finance and Personnel) for the period May 20, 2022 through June 20, 2022.

2)      Approve Minutes of April 22, 2022 Regular Board Meeting.

3)    Approve Report of Disbursements, and Board and Employee Reimbursements for April 2022.

4)    Receive Report on May 4, 2022 Finance Committee Meeting.

5)    Receive Report on May 4, 2022 Personnel Committee Meeting.  

6)    Approve Proposed Distribution of Funds Allocated for FY 21/22 SB 1383 Edible Food Recovery.to Pilot Grant Funding Opportunity.

7)    Approve Exhibits A, B and D of MOU between MRWMD and Member Agencies for FY 23 SB 1383 Shared Costs.

8)    Adopt Resolution 2022-11 Recognizing Public Works Week May 15-21, 2022.

RECOGNITION/PRESENTATIONS

9)    Resolution 2022- 11 Proclaiming May 15-21, 2022 as National Public Works Week.

10)  Recognize Randy Evanger, Heavy Equipment Supervisor for 30 Years of Service.

11)  Recognize Alex Montejano, Senior Maintenance Worker – Site & Facilities for 20 Years of Service.

12)  Presentation of 2022 Artist in Residence exhibit “Home: The Things We Carry” by Taylor Paige Prentiss.

13)  Receive Draft Budget for Fiscal Year 2023/23 and Provide Direction to Staff.

14)  Schedule a Public Hearing for the June 17, 2022 Board Meeting to Consider:

a. FY2022/23 Tip Fee Increases for All Gate Rate Items. Effective July 1, 2022; and

b. Single Stream Recycling Rates will remain at $40 per ton for all member agencies and the residue fee charge will be eliminated.
